SyncID continues to operate normally. Attendance logs are buffered locally on the server and synced automatically once connectivity is restored. No data is ever lost — the system is designed for unreliable network environments.
Which biometric methods does SyncID support?
SyncID supports face recognition, fingerprint scanning, RFID cards, and PIN codes. The exact methods available depend on your device hardware — for example, the iFace 702 supports face + fingerprint, while the SC700 is RFID-only.
Do I need a cloud subscription?
No. SyncID is fully on-premise software that runs on your local network. There are no cloud dependencies, no recurring subscription fees for the core product, and no data leaves your LAN.
How does SyncID connect to SyncrOne?
SyncID communicates with the SyncrOne API over your local network. It pulls employee data from SyncrOne, pushes it to devices, collects attendance logs, and sends them back — all automatically via scheduled background jobs.

Is employee biometric data sent over the internet?
