Introduction
SyncID is an on-premise application that manages employee attendance devices (card readers, biometric terminals) within your organization’s local network. It is part of the SyncrOne ecosystem — pulling employees from the central SyncrOne app, pushing them to devices, collecting attendance logs, and sending those logs back to SyncrOne.
How SyncID fits in

It runs on a machine within your LAN and communicates with devices directly and with SyncrOne over your internal network.
Key capabilities
Section titled “Key capabilities”- Real-time attendance capture — live event streaming or configurable polling from connected devices
- Network resilience — local buffering ensures zero data loss when the network is down
- Automatic sync — scheduled tasks handle employee push, log collection, and SyncrOne delivery
- Multi-biometric support — face recognition, fingerprint, RFID, and PIN
- Device fleet management — monitor status, sync time, manage enrollments from one dashboard
- Health monitoring — built-in health checks with Teams notifications for proactive alerting
On-premise by design
Section titled “On-premise by design”SyncID runs entirely within your LAN. No data leaves your network — biometric templates stay on devices and your local server, attendance records are stored in your database, and all communication happens over your internal network.
This architecture means:
- No cloud dependency — works without internet access
- Full data sovereignty — you control where data is stored
- Low latency — direct device communication over LAN
- No subscription — deploy and run, no recurring cloud fees
Next steps
Section titled “Next steps”- Install SyncID — system requirements and step-by-step installation
- First sync — connect your first device and sync employees
